ILLUSTRATION EXERCISE: DAY 4

I’ve always been a huge fan of the movie Dune, but became an even bigger fan of the Dune universe after reading the book, which is infinitely more complex and intriguing than the film version, although that does not diminish my fondness for David Lynch’s flawed but beautiful vision. So I thought I’d work up a little tribute to both. You can see the results below. It’s a combination of traditional vector art with a little bitmap art thrown in for good measure.
